What is HRMS (human capital management system)
An HRMS is a human resources management system. This another name for a human resources information system (HRIS) and is the place where employee records are found. An HRMS is an HR software that combines processes and systems into one platform for the easy management of employee data.
It can store data, manage payroll processes, and it can also be used as a recruitment tool. Some HRMS have a function whereby people can apply for positions, effectively also functioning as a recruitment software. They can be used to track attendance, hours worked, training, and more. With all of this data in one place, this can reduce the time spent by HR on admin.
