What is Work From Home Policy (WfH)

A work from home policy is a detailed agreement between a staff member and employer for how the employee will work from home. It clearly describes the responsibilities and commitments of the employee for how they will handle their work from home. It may also define who can apply to work from home and the application process for this.
Flexible working arrangements such as working from home, are often used as a staff benefit. Some people enjoy working for organizations that are flexible in the ways of working. The ability to work from home can be a major drawcard for attracting talent to your company. Writing a work from home policy is an excellent way to manage the expectations of those employees who will work outside of the office.
