Performance reviews

A performance review is a chance for a manager to evaluate their employee’s work performance through a formal assessment. The performance review allows managers to identify the staff member’s strengths, weaknesses, and achievements. Employers will offer feedback to employees on their performance using this method. It can also be a chance for managers and staff together to create goals for their future performance.
They may also be called performance appraisals or evaluations. Performance reviews are often conducted annually, although there is a trend towards holding them more often so that managers can provide more timely feedback to their team members.
