Performance management is an ongoing process in which organizations set clear expectations, monitor employee performance, and provide continuous feedback to help individuals meet their goals and contribute to overall business success. It involves setting specific, measurable objectives, regularly reviewing progress, and offering support through coaching, training, or corrective actions. Performance management also includes formal evaluations, often through performance appraisals, to assess accomplishments and identify areas for improvement.
