What it does
Build a Sourcing Plan is a free AI skill that turns a job description into a sourcing plan: target profiles, adjacent talent pools, Boolean search strings for LinkedIn and Google, outreach drafts and a weekly activity plan. It's for recruiters and sourcers.
It works in Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and other AI Assistants.
A job description or hiring brief, with the must-have skills
Location and working pattern
Optional: pay range, start date, your sourcing hours, companies to avoid, past finalists, your referral scheme
2–3 target profiles and adjacent talent pools
Warm sources first: past finalists, past applicants and a referral ask for your team
Ready-to-use Boolean search strings for LinkedIn and Google
2–3 outreach drafts and a follow-up
A weekly plan, funnel targets, risks and what to try next
How it helps
It works like a sourcing strategy template, filled in from your notes and role material. It asks for anything missing, such as companies to avoid or your weekly sourcing hours, then drafts the plan to a fixed structure.
Skills, not pedigree
Target profiles are built from the must-haves, with the job titles people actually use, not from schools or named employers alone. Adjacent pools, such as people in other industries, career changers and returners, are defined by skills and experience, with a note on what each may need to learn.

Searches built on skills
The skill is instructed never to filter search strings by age, gender, nationality or other protected characteristics, or by stand-ins such as graduation year. The strings are for manual use, within each platform's terms.
Honest numbers
Reply rates and funnel targets are labelled as assumptions unless you supplied real figures, so you can replace them with your own after the first weeks. The plan includes a check-in with the hiring manager at the end of week one.

Which AI do you use?
Closing the predictive-validity loop requires structured pre-hire data on every requisition. Assessment scores. Behavioral profiles. Hard-skills signals including AI fluency. Without that dataset, you cannot correlate pre-hire signals with post-hire QoH. You cannot tune the next cohort sharper than the last. The hiring system stays static. The score drifts.
Bryq builds the pre-hire dataset that makes the loop possible.

Better with Bryq
Already use Bryq? Add your assessment results.
Link your Bryq account to your AI assistant, and five skills can include your candidates' Bryq results. For example, your debrief shows them next to the interview notes, and your follow-up questions focus on where the two differ. The link only reads data; it never changes anything in Bryq. Results you bring into a chat are shared with your AI provider, like anything else you paste in. Every skill works fully without it.
