Prepare Interviewers

Prepare Interviewers

Turn each interviewer’s notes into a short summary the team can decide from.

Turn each interviewer’s notes into a short summary the team can decide from.

What it does

Prepare Interviewers is a free AI skill that turns your interview plan and panel list into a one-page brief for every interviewer: their criteria, their questions, what strong and weak evidence sounds like, and how to take notes and score.

It's for recruiters and hiring managers, and works in Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and other AI Assistants.

You give it

You give it

  • Your interview plan or kit: criteria, questions and rating scale

  • Who is interviewing, and which criteria each person covers

  • Optional: the candidate's CV, interview times, your adjustment contact, the scorecard deadline

You get

You get

  • A panel check: who owns each criterion, and whether each slot fits its questions

  • One brief per interviewer, with only their own criteria and questions

  • What strong and weak evidence sounds like for each criterion

  • Note-taking and scoring tips

  • What to do about conflicts of interest, adjustment requests and topics that shouldn't come up

How it helps

It checks the panel plan first, then writes a separate brief for each interviewer, so a sales director doesn't get the hiring manager's questions.

One owner per criterion

It flags any criterion nobody owns, or two people covering the same one without a reason. It also checks each slot has the right number of questions for its length, and suggests a fix for you to confirm.

Evidence over impressions

Each brief describes what strong evidence sounds like (specific, recent, the candidate's own actions, a result) and what weak evidence sounds like (general, "we", hypothetical, no outcome). Interviewers write down what the candidate said and did, not their conclusion.

Independent scoring

Every interviewer scores each criterion straight after the interview and submits before the debrief, without sharing notes or ratings first.

Why we think it's useful

It isn't interviewer training, and it doesn't replace it. It's a page an interviewer can read just before the call. We think that page, specific to this candidate and this slot, is where good habits like independent scoring actually stick.

Which AI do you use?

Closing the predictive-validity loop requires structured pre-hire data on every requisition. Assessment scores. Behavioral profiles. Hard-skills signals including AI fluency. Without that dataset, you cannot correlate pre-hire signals with post-hire QoH. You cannot tune the next cohort sharper than the last. The hiring system stays static. The score drifts.

Bryq builds the pre-hire dataset that makes the loop possible.

Better with Bryq

Already use Bryq? Add your assessment results.

Link your Bryq account to your AI assistant, and five skills can include your candidates' Bryq results. For example, your debrief shows them next to the interview notes, and your follow-up questions focus on where the two differ. The link only reads data; it never changes anything in Bryq. Results you bring into a chat are shared with your AI provider, like anything else you paste in. Every skill works fully without it.

No. It uses your criteria, questions and rating scale exactly as given. Any extra probe it adds is labelled "(suggested)", and if there is no rating scale it adds a placeholder and flags it.
Only job-related facts from the material you supply, such as a CV project worth probing. Nothing about their personal life, no one else's opinion, and no prediction of how they will do.
Every brief includes a conflict-of-interest check. If an interviewer knows or has worked with the candidate, they tell the recruiter before the interview.
Give each criterion one owner, then give each interviewer only their own criteria and questions, with a note on what strong and weak evidence sounds like. Ask them to write down what the candidate said and did, and to score on their own before the debrief. This skill drafts one brief per interviewer to do this.
Yes, it's free, and no Bryq account is needed. It works in Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and any other assistant you can paste instructions into.
